Roxy’s Wet Weekend Review

What is Roxy’s Wet Weekend about?

Roxy has spent months acting as if her stepbrother’s stares don’t register. She treats them as irritating, snaps at him to quit it, and keeps her private life firmly separate from home. Then the rain sets in, the weekend gets canceled, and the two of them are stuck in the same house with nowhere to go.

Stripped to the bone, the series offers one location, two characters and two days. The interest lies in watching her resistance wear down from the inside, since she is the one who eventually crosses the line rather than him. The free pair is all setup, and the turn arrives right at the paywall. It suits viewers who want a quick, self-contained step-sibling story they can finish in about fifteen minutes, but anyone after plot or a supporting cast will find it thin.
