My Girlfriend’s Mom Review

What is My Girlfriend’s Mom about?

A chance encounter leads to an incredible night with an enigmatic woman he assumes he will never see again. Weeks later, at his first dinner with his girlfriend’s parents, he comes face to face with someone familiar: that woman is her mom. She refuses to pretend it never happened.

Instead she turns their secret into leverage, deciding when and where they meet while the threat of one word over dinner hangs over him. Then she announces that she is expecting, and the baby is his, and the stakes jump far beyond a close call. Across five episodes the screws keep tightening, making this one of the darker, more coercive takes on the partner’s-mother theme. The first two cover the setup; the explicit part comes after. Best for viewers who like soap-opera twists and a hero with nowhere to run, not for anyone put off by blackmail plots.
