My Best Friend’s Mom Review

What is My Best Friend’s Mom about?

A broke college student takes a housesitting job for his best friend, figuring it is easy money. Then his friend’s newly single mom turns the quiet week into a secret affair, and before long her closest friend is part of it too. Suddenly he is juggling two women who know far too much, all while counting down to the day his buddy walks back through the front door.

The appeal here is the clock. More than guilt, the tension comes from logistics: who knows what, who might talk, and whether the house can look untouched in time. That gives the five episodes a near-farce energy, with each cover story needing another one. The opening pair sets up the arrangement; the paid three turn explicit. Good for viewers who enjoy cover-up chaos against the clock with two confident older women.
