Midnight Compartment Review

What is Midnight Compartment about?

An overnight train, a single sleeper compartment and three passengers: you, your boss and his spouse, Veronica Parker, the woman you have secretly craved for ages. The boss drifts off in his berth almost immediately. Veronica does not. Through the long, rattling night she keeps narrowing the gap, while every creak of the bunk and every shift of the sleeping husband threatens to blow up both the marriage and your job.

Shot from your point of view, the series lives entirely inside that cramped cabin, and the confinement does the heavy lifting a twistier plot would do elsewhere. With no exit before sunrise, the suspense comes from near misses and held breath rather than events. The single set also keeps the visuals unusually consistent from episode to episode. It suits fans of boss’s-wife fantasies and high-risk secrecy, and anyone who prefers a tight, controlled story to a sprawling one.
